It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Murphy of Eastchester, New York, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph M. Murphy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Mary Sullivan; his wife JoAnn; his son Christopher; and his sister Kathleen.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia, Joseph Jr. (Michele), Carolyn and Mary; and his sister Sheila. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bennetts Funeral Home (824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (8 Carman Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583). A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
