He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Sickau and Shelia J. Sickau; and his sisters, Linda Mae Corbin and Sally Ann Sickau. He is survived by: his spouse Barbie A. Flynn; his children, Danielle N. Flynn, Caitlin M. Gallman (Tyler), Zachary T. Sickau and John R. Sickau, Jr. (Jiyoung); his grandchildren, Troy, Max, Jaxon, Mason and Hallie; and his siblings, Norma J. Thurber (late Dennis), Richard W. Sickau, James H. Sickau, Paula Sue Sickau and William H. Sickau (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2870 E Church St, Eden, NY 14057).
