He was predeceased by: his son Joshua Grotke; his parents, John W. Jr. Grotke and Emma Grotke (Krieger); and his sister Judith Schaefer (late Raymond). He is survived by: his wife Karen G. Grotke; his sons, Matthew Grotke (Audra), Keith Krause (Susanne) and Gregory Krause; and his sister Linda Janak. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
