He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Armstrong and Loretta Armstrong; and his brothers, Thomas Armstrong and Donald Armstrong (late Phyllis). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Armstrong (Franz); his children, Kenneth Armstrong Jr. (Kimberlee), Jean Zydel (Richard), Marie Armstrong and Christina Donaldson (Jason); and his sister-in-law Joan Armstrong.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. (2724 W Church St, Eden, NY 14057). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (8175 E Eden Rd, Eden, NY 14057).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 880.
