He was predeceased by : his parents, Aloysius Preischel and Marie Preischel; and his siblings, Rose Marie Lasota (late Edmund), Georgiana Brehm, Jerome (late Bonnie), Edgar (Mary Ann), Clifford (late Corinne), Paul and Doris Preischel.

He is survived by : his wife Carole Preischel; his children, Mark Preischel (Holly) and Suzanne Garv (Ted); his granddaughter Hope Preischel; and his sister Diane Armbruster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Flowers gratefully declined, the family suggest memorial contributions to be made to St. Mary's Oratory Church.
