He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth E. Slomka; his parents, William Slomka and Mary Slomka; and his sisters, Marian Andrzejewski (late Eugene) and Genevieve Slomka.

He is survived by: his children, William, Joseph, Thomas (Jill), Jerald, Martin and Mary Ellen Danyluk (Mark). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
