It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Ellen Rowlands of Edmeston, New York, born in Vestal, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Truesdell and Pearl Greenman Truesdell; her husband Albert Rowlands (Ozzie); her daughter Pamela Tol; her granddaughter Amy Beadle; and her siblings, Florence Guernsey, Blanche Barrett, Marie Shepard, Jeannette Edwards, Leo Truesdell, Kenneth Truesdell and Robert Truesdell.

She is survived by: her children, David Rowlands (Regina) of Catskill, Michele Tasior (Paul) of Edmeston and Debra Beadle (Manny) of Ilion; and her sisters, Shirley Webb (Robert) of Norwich and Beverly Strobel (Mike) of Rising Star, TX. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

“To the Rowlands family. So sorry to hear about Marge. She was always so friendly. I enjoyed working with her when she was in charge of the Mailroom. A little humor, if you didn't have those flappers up on the letters, she would holler out and remind you. Policy writing was scared of her but I reminded them she really was gentle as a lamb. She has gone home to be with our Lord and your dad, I bet they are having a good old visit. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to you and your family.”
