He is survived by: his children, Edward Sonds Jr., Kim Sonds Hamilton, Paulette Sonds-Muhammad and Leanea Sonds; his sons-in-law, Bobby Hamilton and Ali Muhammad; his sister Patricia John; and his great great grandchildren, Abe, Ruthie, Myra, Denise, Gerard and Rodney. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
