She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Rice and Vernon Rice; her siblings, Mary Lou Walrath, Joyce Zeller, Grace Holly, Beulah Kerr, Evelyn Rice and Vernon Rice Jr.; and her son Kenneth Vernon Carlin.
She is survived by: her sisters, Irene Roberts, Nancy Peck and Nettie Whitford. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
