He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, A. D. Price, Sr. and Virginia M. Price; and his wife Canon Barbara J. Price. He was also cherished by four children and nine grandchildren, and by other relatives and many friends.

“Barbara and the extended Price family. I am in Texas now, but my heart is with you in Buffalo. Al was a member of our family as well. He was Assistant Dean to my Father Harold L Cohen, Dean Emeritus of the School of Architecture & Planning for 10 years and his best buddy for 40+ years. Al was also well loved by my Mother, Mary D Cohen, the late Curator of Entomology at the Buffalo Museum of Science. The three of these powerful teachers helped to change the City of Buffalo for the better.”
