Grace I. Mitchell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace I. Mitchell of Elba, New York, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Furman and Theresa Furman; her spouse Thomas S. Mitchell Sr.; her child Dr. Thomas S. Mitchell Jr.; and her siblings, Howard and Eleanor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Fenton (David Lee) of Batavia and Elaine Say (Scott) of Oakfield; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Mitchell of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Monique Fenton, Mat Fenton (Chrissy Diehl), Tayler Mitchell, Jacob Say (Mikaela Rivers), Madison Mitchell, Lukas Mitchell, Isaac Mitchell, Jonathan Lee (Amy) and Zachary Lee (Melissa); her great grandchildren, -Vela Fenton of Alaska, Miles Diehl and Lillian Bloom; her pet Boris; and her sister Lavina Elek of Long Island. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins, along with extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Lawn Cemetery.
