With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet L. Taylor of Elba, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Slocum and Elce Slocum (Wilder); her husband Richard H. Taylor; her brother Keith Slocum of Florida; and her daughters, Cindy Wilsey of Virginia and Lisa.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Kelly (late Donald Kelly), Michele Taylor and Jill D'Angelo (Dino D'Angelo); her brother David Slocum of Farmersville, NY; her grandchildren, Joshua Kelly (Jodi Denneen), Joel Kelly (Megan Myers-Kelly), Ashley Sutherland (Billy Sutherland), Heidi DeGroat (Collin), Holly Wilsey (Erik Malone), Katie Laney (David) and Joseph Taylor (Kathryn); her brothers, Ethan and Noah D'Angelo; her great grandchildren, Zackery, Jackson Kelly, Braedyn Christensen, Diem Laney, Avery Kelly, Jonathan, Nate, Zoey and Malcolm DeGroat; Jason Gillard.
