With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Loretta Love of Elba, New York, born in Batavia, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Loretta left this world on April 19, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Shafer and Laura Maxwell Shafer; and her siblings, Carol Shafer, Donald Shafer, Annie Fisk and Timothy Karnafel (late Carol).

She is survived by : her husband Darwin F. Love; her daughters, Cheryl Love (McQueen) of Medina and Laurie Graham (Joseph) of Attica; her granddaughters, Rita Vigiano (Sam) of Elba, Felicia LeRoy (Robert) of Victor and Holly Ellis (Taylor) of Canton; her great grandchildren, Mason Vigiano of Elba and Liam Ellis of Canton; and her siblings, Leslie Shafer (Dorothy) of Batavia, Wayne Shafer (Karen) of Lancaster and Theresa Cervone (Gary) of Houston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the H. E. Turner & Co. (403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
