With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carleton Roberts of Elbridge, New York, born in South Royalton, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 29, 2025 at the age of 96. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Carleton may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby. He is survived by: his children, John (Aileen), Thomas and Ann Crandall; and his grandchildren, Erin Willoughby (Douglas) and Lauren Holstein (Matthew). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
