He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Alpha and Virginia Fielding. He is survived by: his wife Sandra of Mary's Church; his children, Kenneth, Karen Weigand (Robert), Kevin and Kurt (Kathleen); and his brother Matthew Mattia. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
