He is survived by : his parents, George Huttig and Julie Huttig; his pets, Polly and Bogey; his wife Amanda Vitullo Huttig; his siblings, Tessa Huttig, Charlie and Sam Huttig; his niece Zoey; his nephew Logan DeJordy; his siblings-in-law, Dan DeJordy and Danielle DeJordy; his parents-in-law, Robert and Alison Vitullo; his grandparents, Deane Smith and Ruth Schuett; and his godparents, Bill and Donna Garrison.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be to the Boquet Valley Central School District for an annual scholarship to be established in Joe's memory.
