It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rolland C. Magoon of Ellenburg Center, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Magoon and Rhada Magoon (LaClair); his daughter Lona; his siblings, James and Linda; and his brother-in-law Jeffery.
He is survived by: his wife Dale Ann; his children, Rolland K. Magoon of Constable, NY, Denise (James Sample) and Ranee Magoon-Pombrio of Ellenburg Center, NY; his grandchildren, Tabatha Giddings, Kaleb Sample (Mackenzie), Kolby Sample (Colin), Rusty Pombrio, Brent Pombrio, Destiny, Dustin, Denver and Darren; his great grandchildren, Karson, Blayne, Morgan and Gracelyn; his siblings, Stephen Magoon (Sandy), Miles Magoon (Diane) and Rosemary Trombley; and his aunts, Janet Koelsch and Lois Johnson. He is also survived by many other sister and brother in laws and niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rabideau Funeral Home (5614 US-11, Ellenburg, NY 12933). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Edmunds Church (5526 US-11, Ellenburg Center, NY 12934).
