It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Giovanniello-Sovak in Ellenville, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Giovanniello and Laura Giovanniello; her husband Jack Sovak; and her sisters, Monica and Rose.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura (Duane) of Syracuse, NY, Christine (James) of Ellenville, NY and Jennifer (John) of Grahamsville, NY; her grandchildren, James, John, Mia and Devin; her great grandchild Benjamin; her brothers, Nick and Michael; and her nephew Louie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, who were like her own children, and many great friends.
Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Fran to St. Jude's or the Alzheimer's Association.
