She was predeceased by: her husband Terrence J. Smerka; and her brother-in-law Gerard Smerka (late Joyce). She is survived by: her son Christopher Smerka (Allison); her sister Diane Meringola (Phillip); and her sister-in-law Dr. Francine Hall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Carole's memory to the Church of the Annunciation, Elma.
