David L. Goodwin Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2025, at the age of 69, David L. Goodwin Sr. (Elmira, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry G. Goodwin and Evelyn M. Scott Goodwin; his daughter Brenda Goodwin; his brother Tootie Goodwin (Mary); his niece Lynn McClincy; and his close friend Scoot Goodwin.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Rebecca Ostrander of Elmira, NY; his children, Jennifer Goodwin, David Goodwin Jr., Lisa Goodwin, Michael Goodwin and Robert Goodwin (Kailey); his siblings, Deborah Seeley (Stephen) of Breesport, NY, Daniel Goodwin (Pam) of Elmira, NY and Harry T. Goodwin of Herford, PA; his grandchildren, Kimberley Stickler, Audri Stickler, Kyiely Irwin, Lilah Goodwin, Benny Goodwin, Alex Goodwin, Kamryn Goodwin, Jaidan Kane and Ben Bowen; and his nieces and nephews, Julina Sabo (Jayson), Rhett Seeley, Chelsey Peterson (Kenneth), John Goodwin (Stephanie), Gus Goodwin (Tabitha), Eric Goodwin and Daniel Goodwin Jr.. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins along with a large circle of friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hibernian Center (701 Kinyon St, Elmira, NY 14904).
