With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald E. Marvin of Elmira, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne F. Marvin and Cora F. Marvin (Updyke); his wife Karen Marvin (Barkalow); his sons, Donald Marvin, Jr. and James Marvin; his siblings, Thelma Henry, Robert Marvin, Ethel Beasley, LaVerne Marvin, Jr., Nancy Svaboda and Barbara Dieffenbach; and his son-in-law William B. Williams, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Barkalow, Teresa Vital, Debbra Williams, Diane Marvin, Michael Marvin and Karen Marvin, II (Daniel Wright); and his siblings, Shirley Kennedy, Ronald Marvin and Carole Smith. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
