She is survived by: her husband Joseph C. Washington; her children, Joseph Washington, Earl Washington (Kim) of Corning, NY, Saudia Washington and Shaneika Dennery (Glen) of Elmira, NY; her grandchildren, Joseph Washington (Chelsea) of San Antonio, TX, Brittney Fisher (Josh) of Elmira, NY, Omar Fisher (Samantha) of Corning, NY, Mariah Washington of Huntersville, NC, Isaiah Washington of Salem, OR, Natasia, Duante Reynolds of Elmira, NY, Alexis, Kiara, Cambry, Camara Washington of Corning, NY, Alexandria and Daniel Dennery of Elmira, NY.; her siblings, Arthur Knights of Elmira, NY, Stella Harvard (James) of Elmira, NY and Vivian Knights of Elmira, NY; her siblings-in-law, Esco Smith (Minnie), Ella Wells (Felton), Annie Jackson (Benard) and Francis Aponte; her grandchildren, Kia, DeRon, Jaydn Harris, Glennessa, Glendeja, Jahleeah and Leshaun Dennery; her great grandchildren, AaYanna', JeShaun, Zariella Kachuroi of Elmira, NY, Izmahni, Khizen, Zion, Joseph-Azair and Mazira Washington of San Antonio, TX; her godchildren, Letitia Geter and Aaron Charles; and her sisters, Brenda, Lisa, Marie Shazer and Georgianna Mckenzie. She is also survived by nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Light Church (300 Lake St, Elmira, NY 14901). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1200 Walnut St, Elmira, NY 14905).
