He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond MacNeal and Bessie MacNeal (Lev); his mother-in-law Mary Johnson; his brother-in-law Donald Johnson; and his son-in-law Albert Grantier.
He is survived by: his wife Judy MacNeal (Johnson); his children, Joan Rice (Brian), Jill Grantier, Joel MacNeal and John MacNeal (Kim); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew (Amelia), Jonah, Juliana, Devin, Hunter, Grace, Dakota, Brayden and Lily; his great grandchildren, Braighee and Bentley; his brother Dave MacNeal (Sally); his sisters-in-law, Lonna Johnson Wales and Patricia Knowlton (Tom); and his cousin Chris Lev. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home (1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY 14904). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Rural Home Cemetery.
