He was predeceased by: his mother Irma Smith (Benjamin); his aunt Joan Schumacher; and his sister Anita Regina Etscovitz. He is survived by: his father Marvin A. Smith; his sister Heidi Ferren (Richard); his nephew Robert; his brother-in-law David Etscovitz (Carol); his uncle Malcolm Benjamin (Tink); his niece Lisa Shaw (Bob); his great-niece Lilly; his cousin Willow "Sissy" Sullivan; his friend Celia Alpern (Ken); and also, Nate and Becca.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Knesset Israel Synagogue (16 Colt Rd, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to Willow's Wings Animal Sanctuary, Inc., 30 Kay Road, Endicott, NY 13740 or the Knesset Israel Shirei Shabbat Music Fund.
