She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Prunier and Frances Prunier; her grandparents, Elmer Morgan, Edward, Helen Prunier and Catherine Morgan; her brother James; and her parents-in-law, Henry L. and Rose Peris.
She is survived by: her husband John Peris of Corning, NY; her sons, Matthew (Debra), Brian (April) and Jonathan (Danyell); her siblings, Claire Quilty (Michael), Mary Ellen Prunier, Patricia Minchin (Brian) and Joseph Prunier (Cindy); her siblings-in-law, Theresa Kenna (Charles), Dr. Henry J. Peris (Sharon) and James Peris (Candace); her grandchildren, Fletcher (Rachel Berg), Lucas, Charles, Nixon, Reagan and Warren; her stepgrandchildren, Madison and Dillon; and her friends, Karen and Robert Kurcoba. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McInerny Funeral Home (502 W Water St, Elmira, NY 14905). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any consideration be made in the form of a donation to the Arctic League of Chemung County, a charity that helps provide Christmas gifts for children in need.
