She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gilboy, and Irene Gilboy, Sr. (McCormick); her husband Francis J. "Shorty" Ortell, Sr.; and her siblings, Irene Marie Sheahan, Louise Russell, Anne Barone, John and Paul Gilboy.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Rose; her son-in-law Gary Shaw of Elmira Heights; her son Francis Jr.; her daughter-in-law Michele Ortell (Swartz) of Wellsburg; her grandchildren, Allison (William Drew), Alexander Ortell (Spencer), Benjamin and Breanna Shaw; and her brother George Gilboy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
