Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hastings and Jeanette Hastings (Owens). She is survived by: her brothers, Byron Hastings (Betty) of Painted Post and Douglas Hastings (Fran) of Ontario, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westside United Methodist Church (743 W 1st St, Elmira, NY 14901).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Westside United Methodist Church.
