We are sad to announce that, on January 24, 2026, at the age of 87, Shelba Dixon in Elmira, New York, born in Sligo, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Shelba is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She is survived by: her husband Edwin "Leo" Dixon; her children, Deborah Barner (Dan) of Big Flats, NY, Eric "Scott" Dixon (Brenda) of Caton, NY, Bonnie "Robin" Capute of Jupiter Farms, FL, Stephen Dixon (Patricia) of Taylorsville, KY and Dan Dixon (Mindy) of Hickory, NC; and her nephew Tom McBride of Rochester, PA.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
