She is survived by: her children, Joseph Emmanuel, Marie Chantale, Samuel (Sylloria), Clement, Paule Andre (Paule Tamera) and Aramus; and her grandchildren, Francesca Clifton, Richard Sejour, Joubert Jean, James Peolocy Black, Angie Abdoune, Kevin Michel, Marly Black, Menricka Black, Kervens Batalien, Kyle Batalien, Katelove Black, Bianca Black, Johanne Felix, Anne Salomon, Sasha Salomon, David Salomon, Carl-Henry Black, Mark Black and Elise Black. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the O'Brien-Sheipe Funeral Home Inc. (640 Elmont Rd, Elmont, NY 11003). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (115-50 221st St, Cambria Heights, NY 11411). A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 170 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590.

As Celanie grew older, her health began to decline as she faced Alzheimer's disease.
