He was predeceased by: his mothers, Leonise Zephir and Day; and his sister-in-law Ernante Michel. He is survived by: his uncle Nivose; his wife Marie Zephis; his children, James Zephis of Elmont and France Zephis-Nicol (Roland Sr.) of Lewes, DE; his grandchildren, Roland Jr., Rashawn, Devante (Athalia), Devonere, Jordan, Jade and Nathaniel; his great grandchildren, Cassidy, Carter and Alijah; his sister Carmen; his siblings-in-law, Salim, Hebert, Joseph, Violette and Corine; his siblings, Creda, Felix, Louis and Mirielia; his siblings' children, Jean, Danny, Hancy (Laquita), Marjorie (Dieter), Samuel (Nicole), Sandra, Rousell (Diana), Kenny and John; and his godson Wil (Yveland). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Brien-Sheipe Funeral Home Inc. (640 Elmont Rd, Elmont, NY 11003). Viewing was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 11:45 AM.
