She is survived by: her son Norman Vasceannie (Dorothy Johnson); her significant other Ceci Brown; her daughter Effie Dawkins; her nephew Wade Walker of Jamaica; her brother Gifford Walker; and her sister-in-law Millicent Walker. She is also survived by her four children, five stepchildren, grandchildren.
In 2025, she contracted COVID, which left her severely weakened.
