She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Marc Shapiro; her children, Lauren Sachs (Alan) and Jonathan Shapiro (Kristin); and her grandchildren, Asher, Meirav, Avital, Itai, Jacob and Benjamin.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beth David Cemetery (300 Elmont Rd, Elmont, NY 11003).
