We bid farewell to John F. Bauerlein of Eltingville, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 90. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Bauerlein and Agnes Ochs. He is survived by: his spouse Jean F. Bauerlein; his grandchildren, Craig (Jessica), Devin (Matt), Taylor (Mark), Christopher (Jaclyn), Deanna (Garret), Michelle (Greg), Matthew (Samantha), Alyssa (Shawn) and Leanne (Michael); and his siblings, Frances, Agnes and Albert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Child Church (4747 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10312).
