She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur N. Hess; her parents, Harry VanVorce and Mae VanVorce; her sons-in-law, John R. Warner and Joseph E. Kimball; and her grandsons, Jeremy D. Hess and Jared D. Warner.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lorretta, Rick Nelson, Chuck and Nancy VanVorce; her children, Doug, Toni Hess, Audrey Warner, Annette Kimball, Kathy, Tom Wheeler and Wayne Hess; and her grandchildren, Joel, April Hess, Chad Warner, Abby, Josh McGowen, Aaron, Tawney Kimball, Cassey, Seth Sisombath, Samantha and Kenny Hoyt. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Endicott Nazarene Church (1381 Union Center Maine Hwy, Endicott, NY 13760).
