He is survived by: his wife Tina M. Simmons (Jardine); his brother David E. Simmons; his sons, Donald A. Simmons, Jr. (Heidi Limbert) and Gregory J. Simmons; his grandchildren, Jay L. Simmons and LillyAnn R. Green; his brothers-in-law, Peter J. Jardine and James M. Jardine; and his niece Sandy L. Thurston. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
