He was predeceased by: his former wife Irene; his wife Jean; his brothers, Lance and Ray; and his brother-in-law Cliff House.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Mary) and Douglas (Audrey); his grandchildren, Adrienne Young (Rob), Jen Ballard (Donnie) and Jason Smith (Micah); his great grandchildren, Bria Young, Jack, Owen Ballard, Julian, Macklin and Ezra Smith; and his sisters, Amy Lacey (Dan), Kathy House and Maureen Riter (Dave). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Meals on Wheels of Western Broome or Mercy House of the Southern Tier (https://mercyhousesoutherntier.com) in Ed's name.
