She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Macuch and Belva Macuch; and her brother James Macuch. She is survived by: her husband Richard Schubmehl; her children, Douglas Gilg, Donna Gilg (Todd Johnson), Kim Hill (Stephen) and Brenda Hudy (Mark); her stepson Scott Schubmehl (Debbie); and her aunt Donna Shultz. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Guthrie Hospice in Vestal, New York, whose compassionate care and support brought comfort to Helen and her family during her final journey.
