Jay Vassil Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay Vassil of Endicott, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jay left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 50, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vassil and Beverly Vassil; and his father-in-law Garry Clark. He is survived by: his wife Beth Vassil; his children, Matthew and Leah; his sisters, Kimberly Shem-Tov (Golan) and Tammy Park (Harry); his mother-in-law Linda Boice; his sister-in-law Tammy Merritt (Don); his nieces, Emma Shem-Tov, Danielle Mirabito, Nicole Patak, Kaitlyn Patak, Kadence Merritt and Bristol Merritt; his close friend Paul Hauptfleisch; and his cousins, Teddy Decker and Steve Moxen. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Glendale Park (400 Glendale Dr, Endicott, NY 13760).
