With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry J. Bates of Endicott, New York, who passed away on April 18, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bates and Geraldine Bates. He is survived by: his wife Marie Bates (Fanelli); his children, Anthony Bates (Jenine), Christopher Bates (Sundae Oxley), Danielle Bates (Gavin Keaty) and Adrienne Menhennett (Edward); his grandchildren, Angelina Bates, Christopher Wright (Sabrina), Noah Bates, Sidney Menhennett and Isaiah Oxley; his great grandchildren, Kyson, Camden and Elliana Wright; his brother Gerald; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Bates, Joseph, Jenny Fanelli, Peter and Maureen Fanelli. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Memorial (511513 E Main St, Endicott, NY 13760). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (207 Hayes Ave, Endicott, NY 13760).
