She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald William Blake and Donna June Mayerle; and her siblings, Peter Blake and Katherine South. She is survived by: her sons, Brett Nelson Jr. (Angie), Ronald Nelson, Richard Nelson (Samson Lau) and Brandon Nelson (Jasmine Shay); her granddaughter Adeline Nelson; her former husband Brett Nelson Sr.; and her siblings, Charles "Butch" Blake, Denise Wheeler and Charlene Coleman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
