It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard D. Whitten of Endicott, New York, who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Whitten and Ethel Brink; his brother Gary "Kemo" Whitten; his stepdaughter Jerri LaComb; and his pet Geo.

He is survived by: his close friend Carolyn Warren; his sisters, Marian McManus (Gary), Thelma Skinner (Robert) and Norma Smith; and his children, Sandy Hoyte, Terri Beansley, Lisa Santilli, Sheridan Guile (Jim), Cindy Whitten, James Whitten (Nadine) and Holly Sablich (Jon). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
