He was predeceased by: his parents, Luella Smith Farmer and James Farmer; and his siblings, James Farmer and Marilyn McCann. He is survived by: his wife Melaine; his sister Kathy Farmer; his sister-in-law Kathleen Farmer; his children, Heidi Day (Steve Day) and Ryan Farmer (Megan Murphy Farmer); and his granddaughters, Mackenzie, Rylie Day, Alaina and Leah Farmer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home (300 E Main St, Endicott, NY 13760). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Riverhurst Cemetery (2500 E Main St, Endwell, NY 13760).
