He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril LaBare and Elizabeth LaBare; his in-laws, Helen and William Kostun; his daughter Kelly M. LaBare; his siblings-in-law, Madeline Matthews and William J. Kostun Sr.; and his brothers, Cyril and Jaun LaBare.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Kostun); his son Byron; his sister Lizabeth Leonard; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Kostun, Diane LaBare and Daniel Matthews. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to express their sympathy consider donating to help establish the LaBare Foundation – created from both love and loss to honor Gene and his daughter, Kelly.
