With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Tye of Endwell, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Franklin and Omah Faye Tye; and his siblings, Margaret, Lillie, Laura, Ida, Myra and Henry F. Tye Jr..
He is survived by: his sister Clara Ann Johnson; his children, Edward Tye (Sarah), Kevin Tye (Karen), David Tye (Patricia) and Maureen Gonzalez (James); and his grandchildren, Julia (Thomas), Chelsea, Katherine, Amy, Michael, Matthew (Vivienne), Alyssa, Corey, Brian, Aaron (Cindy), Ethan (Samantha) and Ellen. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
