He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Gilbert and Mildred C. Barber Gilbert of Port Jervis; his brother Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Yoko Gilbert of San Antonio, Texas.. He is survived by: his sister Loretta; and his brother-in-law Robert Vaber of Endwell.
