He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Bennett and Muriel Bennett (Hunt); his wife Marilynn A. Bennett (Perue); his sisters, Betty Wintle and Helen Parsons of Canada; and his daughter Jacqueline M. Fancher of Esperance.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie VanAller (Brian) of Panama City, FL and Reuben Bennett (Angela) of Clifton Park; his son-in-law David Fancher of Cobleskill; his grandchildren, Alex Cummings (Krista) of Morganton, NC, Andrew Cummings (Savannah Willoughby) of Scotia, Alicia Taber (Michael) of New Baltimore, Robert VanAller of Candler, NC, Landon and Jacob Bennett of Clifton Park; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Garland Cummings of Morganton, NC, Kaysen and Leighton Cummings of Scotia; and his brother-in-law Jerry Wintle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Esperance Presbyterian Church (129 Church St, Esperance, NY 12066). The inurnment will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the Esperance Cemetery (2799 Burtonville Rd, Esperance, NY 12066).
