He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Orvis" Fairchild and Naomi Fairchild; his wife Elaine K. Benjamin; and his siblings, Florence Skeen and Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Benny, Jamie Fairchild of Waddington, April and Nicholas Lee of Lafayette, Ind.; his grandchildren, Ali Fairchild, Apollos Lee, Calyca Lee, Azalya Lee and Evora Lee; his sisters, Lois (Rick Sipes), Esther (Jeff Carpenter), Ruth (Steve Williams) and Harriet (John Parker); and his pet Bonnie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, in- laws, friends.
