With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Veronica M. Petranchuk in Evans Mills, New York, who passed away on February 18, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garrett West and Veronica West; her husband Alfred Petranchuk of Mary's Catholic Church; her siblings, Elizabeth (Harlow Riordan), Virginia (Glenn Watson), Marcella Lawler and Robert (Helen West); her siblings-in-law, Pauline Witkowski, Emil (Sophie Witkowski) and Edward Witkowski; her son-in-law Allen Drake; her grandsons, Jordan Drake and Charles Pratt; her nephews, Stuart Riordan and Gary Watson; and her niece Linda Witkowski.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Petranchuk (MaryAnne), Timothy Petranchuk (Christine), Todd Petranchuk (Bobbi), Terry Drake (Theresa), Judy Petranchuk, Susan Obergefell (Danny), Beth Fina (Mark) and Amy McLean (Scott); and her sister Anne Richter Ashley. She is also survived by Twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own children.
