The memory of Bernard E. Colligan of Fairport, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Michael and Marie Colligan (Dussault) of Colonie, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Colligan (McGuire) of Schenectady, NY; his children, Bernard Fitzgerald Colligan of Atlanta, GA, Stephen David Colligan of Macedon, NY and Michele Lorraine Colligan of Fairport, NY; his grandchildren, Sean Michael Colligan of Fairport, NY and J'La Major of New York, NY.; and his siblings, Michael Colligan (Valorie) of Ballston Lake, NY, John Colligan (Elizabeth) of Brunswick, NY and Theresa Lyons (Keith) of Columbia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport, NY 14450).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernie's memory may be made to the Traumatic Brain Injury Research Fund at Strong Memorial Hospital, in recognition of the wonderful care and support provided by the Neuromedicine ICU staff during his stay. “Bernie was a great friend and a guy that would give. You the shirt off his back if you need it! I still can’t believe we were both in Strong Hospital at the same time, with he on the floor just above me. I was fortunate that they let me see and sit with him before I was discharged! He will always be remembered as very important part of our coffee club as he always brought useful information that made our lives a little more tolerable! Phones etc! My thoughts & prayers are with you! Bob B”
