Coomber Helen M. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Coomber Helen M. of Fairport, New York, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard McCormack and Maud Everill McCormack; and her husband Paul Coomber. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Baumgartner (Thomas Hart), Carol Sadlowski (Stan), Kris Tinklepaugh (Phil), John Switzer (Sally) and Paul Switzer (April); her stepchildren, Douglas Coomber (Cindy), Jeffrey Coomber (Marilyn), John Coomber (Anita), Pamela Caryl (Bruce) and Tracy Ohara; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Nicki, Hank, Elizabeth, Kris, Melanie, Chip, Adam, Vinny, Lisa, Joey and Bryan. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc. (123 W Main St, Palmyra, NY 14522). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (401 S Main St, Newark, NY 14513).
